I feel like this could be an easy one to predict, but then again, with QPR relegated to the Championship, they really have nothing to lose at this point. Arsenal definitely need a win and will have this one targeted for all three points.
Arsenal played well against Manchester United at home last weekend, but really were only able to do so for one half. Their 1-1 draw in week 35 saw them benefit from a favorable linesman in their only goal. They will still be without Olivier Giroud up front, who has done well for them this year. Otherwise, they have everyone else available (other than Diaby, but when is ever available).
Arsenal in a position where they need to win their last three games to give them a chance at finishing in the top four. Additionally they will need Tottenham to drop a point. They are currently in fourth place with 64 points sandwiched between Chelsea (65) in third and Tottenham (62) in fourth.
If Queens Park Rangers play like they have over the past month, then they might as well not even show up for the game. I am interested to see what kind of team Harry Redknapp will play. He has already called out the players and told them they aren’t good enough, so I have a hard time seeing them being up for a game.
My prediction is for an Arsenal win and this is what will happen barring some kind of shocking comeback from QPR.
QPR (L, L, D, L, L, D) 0 – 3 Arsenal (W, W, W, D, W, D)
